On Friday I saw the second match of the world cup live. France Vs Uruguay. I had just the luck that I was able to watch the only non-exciting match in the world cup so far.
As you know I was not a soccer fan, but as the world cup proceeded so did my excitement and even my patrionism.
I found out that Messi is playing for Argentina in the world cup. I saw the whole match (on TV) of Argentina against Nigeria and what a game it was!
I have seen 5 full soccer games in less than a week and the others I have watched at least half if not more.
Now in the plane on my way to Israel for the rest of the time period of the world cup I...

Being a South African who thought that our soccer team couldn't kick a ball before, I feel ashamed, but proud that they proved me wrong. Our goal scored by Tshabalala, the first goal of the 2010 World Cup, was elegant and fantastic beyond imagination, well at least to me.
I am sorry reader if you were not a soccer fan before the world cup and you still aren't one now. I know I probably sound like my teachers and their soccer devotions that I dreaded at the time, but I had a change of mind, that tends to happen.
On a completely different note! I am going to without shame advertise my friends' and my own other blog- For My Frifes- This is more of a journal like blog of each one of my friends, but names aren't mentioned, but if you do the great honour of checking out the blog (its in my blog list) then you can try guess which one is mine.
