The Creative Side of Me - Part 1 of Part 2

Part 1 of Part 2

(New year - New Part)

Here are a few entries I wanted to make last year, but... didn't
About Literature:

Saturday 28 August 2010
Unfortunately due to my laziness and busyness I haven’t been able to get myself stuck in a book. This is what happens.

Ahhh, yes. Some time to read.
I start Reading.
The next day, dammit no time, or maybe a bit later
The following day as above.

So that by the time a week or two have passed I have forgotten if I was enjoying the book or even where I am in the book.
So because of this I have been reading the book Shantaram for now three months and not because it is such a big book, but because I haven’t touched it in two months.
Now I have a choice.

Carry on working on this blog
Read some pages of Shantaram
Re-watch TV shows
Go to sleep
For me this is a very difficult choice, but I think I will go read some Shantaram... I think.

Sunday 29 August 2010
Yesterday I decided to read some Shantaram finally, unfortunately I got very tired and only managed about three or four pages. I know I will finish it in due time, but these three weeks are going to be roller-coasters full of activity and on the go 24/7. Thats leaves my holiday completely free. Well then, I guess that will be my break and time to enjoy Shantaram.
Right now I just remembered I have an Afrikaans book to read for the 20 September. Great! I don’t have time to read a book I want and now I have! to read this book... Its called ‘Die Pro’. Not as in  ‘Let the professional die’, the actual translation is ‘The Pro(fessional)’

Saturday 08 January 2011

Nope, I have not finished Shantaram, but wait I have valid reasons. Firstly I was reading it a lot before I went on my 2 week camp, which I didn't take it to, then and now I'm haven't seen the book recently AND I have to read a book to help my sister with her exams in February so I don't have much time for Shantaram as much as I DO want to read it.

The Creative side of Me - Part 6 of Part 1

Part 6 of Part 1

Is there anybody gonna listen to my story, anybody, anyone at all... - The Beatles, A girl (also in Across the Univese)

The quote above is for the lack of followers and comments I am receiving!

Dodgy-ness, anything can be dodgy from places you drive through to emails from a stranger.
But not talking about the actual, actual meaning of the word, but the word itself.
Dodge - Well that's when you try to block something by the something missing you. (I am not a dictionary, those aren't perfect words)
y- well, that's just the letter to change 'dodge' from a noun to an adjective, but wouldn't that mean that I could call someone who is good at dodging, dodgy?
I guess it could refer to the fact that you should dodge this place, person so on.

I am going to make a new word for 'dodgy' ... thinking...

ummm....um....

nonono -  no-no-no, adjective
                Origins: the word 'no'
This word is used for anything that would have normally been called dodgy.

Do you like it? Its very original...(cough, cough)

sigh...scratches neck... taps at head
